SUMMER TENNIS CAMP
for Ages 6 to 14.

Let your child have fun this summer playing tennis with kids tennis coaching legend Dave Freiman. Dave is the founder & owner of The Tennis Connection. For the past 25+ years, Dave has taught and developed the love of tennis for over 5000 kids in the Tampa Bay area. Many have gone on to leagues, tournaments, high school and even college levels.
Freiman is certified by the RSPA in both Tennis & Pickleball and has held and directed successful kids sports camps since 2001 in the Tampa Bay area. Our programs are engineered to engage, encourage & build confidence in children, while teaching them the fundamentals. Making it FUN so kids enjoy the game and want to continue to learn and improve.

KIDS WILL LEARN and PLAY TENNIS!

Kids will enjoy the Summer Tennis Camp experience with a variety of on-court fun tennis and games. Kids learn tennis skills and will enjoy a variety of individual and team games, drills and challenges. Kids make new friends and fun memories while having a blast playing.
Kids will be given plenty of shade, hydration, and snack breaks. We'll provide FAN MISTER to have a cool zone. We'll make each day of camp a fun and memorable time. And in the final 30 minutes, we jump in the pool, coaches too, to cool down before the end of camp day and prepare for pickup.

TYPICAL CAMP DAY

8:45am CHECK IN Gather together at Tennis Court Gate for Check-In

• 9:00am-9:30am Fitness, Stretching, Warmups, Coordination & Limber-Up Games, Hydrayion and Rest Breaks
• 9:30-10:00am Tennis Games and Instruction, Hydrayion and Rest Breaks
• 10:00-10:20am Break, Cool-down, SNACK TIME, Re-apply Sun-Screen
• 10:20-10:50am Tennis Games and Instruction & Break, Hydrayion and Rest Breaks
• 10:50-11:20am Tennis Skills Drills and Challenges, Hydrayion and Rest Breaks
• 11:20-11:50am Lunch-Sack Break, Change for Pool Break & Hydrayion
• 11:50-12:20pm Pool Break: Cool down time
• 12:20-12:30pm Dry-off and Rest. Parent Pick-Up, SIGN-OUT.
  
  12:30pm PICK-UP & Sign-out at GATE on court

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?

Tennis Racquet
(We'll provide racquet for those that need one)
Wear socks and tennis-specific or cross-training tennis shoes.
(Best shoes for movements going "side-to-side")
Filled Plastic Water Bottle
Sack Lunch and
2 nurishing snacks for snack time

Recommended in BackPack:
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen,
swim suit or trunks, and a towel.
Bring flip flops inside child's backpack for pool time.

CHECK IN/SIGN IN DROP OFF: 8:45am-9:00am

8:45am-9:00am CHECK IN/SIGN IN DROP OFF. Kids will be signed in and dropped off at gate to the tennis cours.
Please do not arrive before 8:45am, as we cannot accomodate brfre 8:45am.

CHECK OUT/SIGN OUT/PICK UP: by 12:30pm

12:30pm Kids need to be PICKED UP & SIGNED OUT by the Clubhouse/pool gate.
Please come a few minutes early in order to pick-up by 12:30pm, as coaches leave, and cannot accommodate any hold overs,
(unless a private appointment has been made in advanced),
